What does a Recruiter do at WPP Production?

We are looking for a highly driven, data-oriented Recruiter to support hiring across our Hyderabad (HYD) market, working closely with stakeholders based in California.

This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can operate with both speed and precision. Beyond execution, the Recruiter will act as a strategic partner to hiring teams—using data, market insights, and strong storytelling to influence decisions, guide stakeholders, and continuously improve hiring outcomes. Given that key stakeholders sit in CA, this role also requires strong cross-time zone communication, relationship-building, and the ability to manage stakeholders remotely with clarity and confidence.

This is a hands-on role in a globally integrated team, where adaptability, ownership, and a proactive mindset are critical.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment across full-time and freelance roles for the HYD market.
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership based in CA, managing relationships and communication effectively across time zones and geography.
Lead initial screening, assess candidates against role requirements, and present strong, well-qualified shortlists with clear recommendations.
Leverage recruiting data, market insights, and pipeline analytics to inform hiring strategies and improve efficiency.
Ensure a seamless interview process, including scheduling, coordination, and follow-ups across time zones, maintaining a strong candidate experience.
Partner with HR and stakeholders to manage offers, aligning on compensation, contracts, and start dates.
Develop creative sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse talent pipelines within the HYD market.
Operate as part of a global recruiting model, flexing to support other regions occasionally based on hiring demand.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and ways of working.
Represent WPP Production as a strong brand ambassador, ensuring a consistent and compelling candidate experience.
Provide administrative assistance as needed, including coordination tasks to support the broader recruiting team and hiring process.

Requirements

5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally within digital, creative, or content production environments.
Experience managing a high volume of roles and candidates within a single market.
Proven ability to manage stakeholders remotely across time zones, particularly with US-based teams, with clear, confident, and proactive communication.
Strong ability to use data and insights to drive decisions, track performance, and improve outcomes.
Ability to clearly articulate candidate value, influence hiring teams, and guide stakeholders through hiring decisions—even without in-person interaction.
Brings new ideas, challenges the status quo, and continuously looks for better ways to deliver results.
Moves with speed while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Builds trust and credibility with stakeholders and candidates at all levels, across geographies and cultures.
Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred).
