Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead our established small animal practice in Edmonds, Washington.
This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, mentoring colleagues, and helping shape the future of a hospital without losing the clinical work that drew them to veterinary medicine in the first place.
You'll join a collaborative 3-doctor team with a strong reputation in the community, a loyal client base, and the support needed to focus on both patient care and medical leadership. Schedule

Four-day work week

Qualifications

DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program

Washington veterinary license (or ability to obtain)

Several years of companion animal clinical experience

Strong surgery, dentistry, and medical case management skills

Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, or lead others

Commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative medicine

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Previous Medical Director, Chief of Staff, Lead Veterinarian, or leadership experience is welcomed but not required.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary for this opportunity starts at $150,000+ annually. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
