This position reports to: Advertising Manager
Purpose of the role:
To manage the performance of the digital campaign Specialist and drive improvements in the way they work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of Digital Campaign Specialists to ensure effective campaign planning and execution, against set targets and budgets.
- Manage the full life cycle involvement in digital advertising campaigns from enquiry stage to campaign completion. (This involves, but not limited to Insertion order and contract completion; ensure work does not commence without signed insertion orders)
- Prompt buyers and suppliers for briefs, check stock Liaise with client on creative assets; manage through to approval
- Load campaigns timeously Compile POE once campaign is live
- Provide detailed analysis and reports to clients on campaign performance and delivery together with invoice
- Work with the Advertising Sales Team Leader to find ways to improve the way Digital Campaign Specialists work with the
- Advertising Sales Specialists to execute and report on campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign results and budget savings through innovative campaign production
- Wholistic monitoring on schedule delivery and find ways to optimize based on clients success metrics
- Wholistic analysis of campaign performance and delivery
- Troubleshoot targeting issues, resolve any traffic issues and reconcile discrepancies
- Evaluation of advertising campaigns against in-house campaigns; reporting and success measurement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Marketing/Advertising (or Preferably: At least 5 Years Experience and Matric)
- Must have an understanding of digital marketing
- Must have experience with DFP | Google Ad Manager or similar ad serving tools
- At least 3 years digital campaign management experience is a prerequisite
- Experience in managing a team of people
