ROOST Rainey brings a refined, residential hotel experience to the heart of Austin’s vibrant Rainey Street District. Thoughtfully designed studio, one‑, and two‑bedroom apartments feature full kitchens, in‑unit laundry, curated furnishings, and warm, modern interiors that feel instantly livable. About the Role
The Housekeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably maintained environment for our guests. This position is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public spaces meet ROOST’s high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, reliable, and take pride in delivering thoughtful, elevated service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and refresh guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to brand standards
- Change linens, make beds, restock amenities, and maintain in‑room supplies
- Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, and back‑of‑house spaces
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols
- Support laundry operations as needed
- Uphold a warm, professional, guest‑focused demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
