Service Drive Buyer

The Service Drive Buyer plays a critical role in supporting inventory acquisition and driving dealership profitability by identifying and purchasing vehicles directly from service lane customers.
What You Will Do
- Engage service lane customers to identify opportunities to purchase their current vehicle.
- Build rapport quickly and professionally with guests while they are waiting for service.
- Appraise vehicles using established dealership processes, tools, and market data.
- Present purchase offers clearly and confidently, addressing customer questions and objections.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Used Car Managers to structure competitive and profitable offers.
- Coordinate with the Service Department to identify high-potential vehicles for acquisition.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appraisals, and purchase opportunities in CRM systems.
- Follow up with customers who express interest in selling but do not immediately transact.
- Support inventory acquisition goals by sourcing desirable pre-owned vehicles aligned with dealership needs.
- Ensure all transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and customer-focused environment in the service drive
What We Are Looking For
- Prior automotive sales, service advisor, or vehicle acquisition experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Confident in initiating conversations and overcoming objections in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assess vehicle condition and understand basic appraisal principles (training provided if needed).
- Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally between Sales and Service departments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM tools preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Pay: $18.50 - $18.50 / hour + bonuses based on performance.
