This SkillBridge opportunity offers direct, hands-on exposure to cutting-edge defense autonomy technology.
About the Role
This SkillBridge internship offers hands-on experience as a Field Service Representative (FSR). FSRs provide direct technical support to the company's customers, monitoring equipment readiness, delivering diagnostics and repairs, and conducting product trainings that keep systems mission-ready in the field. SkillBridge FSR interns will work alongside experienced field service personnel to build hands-on technical, communication, and customer-relationship skills that support a successful transition into a technical field role.
Responsibilities

Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting
- Assist customers with diagnostic and repair support via phone, email, or direct on-site interaction.
- Apply systematic troubleshooting techniques to help diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Support installations, maintenance checks, proactive services, and repairs to keep equipment operating efficiently.
Training
- Help execute training plans that educate customers and internal personnel on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Support the assessment and documentation of customer understanding and proficiency following training sessions.
- Contribute to refining and enhancing training materials based on customer feedback and operational insights.
Documentation and Communication
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including issue diagnostics, resolution processes, asset usage, and customer interactions.
- Assist in generating Field Reports and Work Orders that provide actionable feedback to quality and engineering teams.
- Help communicate service bulletins, informational notices, and product updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build professional relationships with customers through consistent, proactive communication.
- Provide technical guidance that helps customers manage and maintain their equipment more effectively.

- Strong documentation habits and attention to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to building professional relationships with customers and teammates.
