Payroll Specialist - Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We here at Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services, PLLC are looking for a precise and reliable Payroll Specialist to ensure every member of our team is paid accurately and on time. Your work is the foundation of employee trust — and we take that responsibility seriously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all LBAPS staff with 100% accuracy
- Maintain payroll records, process tax withholdings, and generate payroll reports
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Process garnishments, deductions, and special payroll adjustments
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations
SKILLS:
- Direct experience processing payroll for 50+ employees
- Proficiency with payroll platforms (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, or equivalent)
- Experience handling tax withholdings, garnishments, and payroll reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for resolving employee inquiries
