Liquid Personnel are in partnership with Knowsley Council to recruit a Social Worker within their Children with Disabilities Team.

As a Children with Disabilities Social Worker you will be:

  • Responsible for supporting Children up to the age of 18 who have learning disabilities, a physical or sensory impairment, chronic and life threatening or life limiting illness or multiple disabilities whose needs cannot be met through support available at Targeted or Early Help support.
  • You will assess the needs of children and young people with disabilities who also have needs for additional support because of the impact of their disability. You will then work with parents and carers to implement a plan aimed at meeting identified needs.
  • Some of the duties include creating Child in Need Plans, Child Protection plans, CLA plans, Education, Health and Care Plan of Need or a Continuing Care Plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
