Liquid Personnel is recruiting Advanced Social Work Practitioner for its client's Children in Our Care Team at Gateshead.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled practitioner looking to combine direct practice with leadership responsibilities, supporting staff development and dr
What will your responsibilities be?
- Managing a complex caseload of children in care
- Providing consultation, guidance, and support to Social Workers across the team
- Supporting practice development and quality assurance activities
- Leading on complex case discussions and decision-making
- Mentoring and developing less experienced practitioners
- Ensuring care planning and permanency planning are child-focused and outcome-driven
- Working in partnership with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Significant post-qualified experience within Children's Social Care
- Strong experience working with Children in Care
- Ability to support and develop colleagues through coaching and mentoring
- Excellent assessment, safeguarding, and risk management skills
