Flipp's CPG and Retail Media team focuses on building and maintaining relationships with existing CPG and Retail Media clients by understanding their business objectives and driving results against these to grow the partnership.
As an Account Executive on the CPG and Retail Media team at Flipp, you will own a portfolio of some of the largest CPG advertisers in Canada and be responsible for turning those relationships into long-term, high-value partnerships. This role sits at the intersection of digital advertising, retail media, and CPG strategy — and the person who fills it will have direct line of sight into how Canadian brands invest and grow in the digital and retail media advertising space.
In addition to driving strategic alignment with Flipp’s Brand partners, you will work with a best-in-class team to deliver against your revenue targets.
What you'll get the opportunity to do:
- Own a growing book of 4-8 CPG accounts with strong relationships and significant growth opportunities across teams (Brand, Shopper, Sales and Agency).
- Lead the sales cycle end-to-end, including planning, sell-in, execution, reporting, and renewals into Flipp’s media offering. Leverage Flipp’s consultative sales motion — grounded in data, tailored storytelling, and compelling case studies — that demonstrates the platform’s value in terms that CPG partners actually care about.
- Establish new and deepen existing relationships within your client portfolio, where you're seen not just as a vendor, but as a strategic advisor on how to win in the Canadian digital ad space.
- Develop strategic account plans across your entire book, shifting partnerships from tactical, ad hoc planning cycles to annual planning.
- Leverage Flipp’s evolving 1P data capabilities, in partnership with the Marketing Science team, to develop custom insights for CPG and agency partners.
What you'll bring to the team:
- 3-7 years of sales experience. Those with experience in CPG, Digital Media, or Retail Media will find the position a strong fit (e.g., CPG sales, Media sales, Retail Media, Ad Tech, Media Agency).
- Proven track record managing client relationships and partnering to drive measurable, attributable growth
- Comfort analyzing and speaking to CPG and advertising insights, KPIs, and business performance metrics
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Exceptional communication skills that allow you to lead and influence thinking internally and externally.

Variable Compensation
This position is eligible for a bonus based on Flipp's sales incentive plan, which is dependent on variables including the achievement of corporate goals, objective attainment, and personal performance. Additional details will be shared with candidates as they progress through the interview process
