Description

The Role

You'll craft compelling, narrative-driven content that transforms how the legal industry understands its work, translating complex ideas into clear stories that educate prospects, elevate customers, and expand our organic search reach. You'll work closely with internal subject matter experts and external champions to uncover powerful legal narratives and convert them into high-performing articles, whitepapers, and convertible marketing assets.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of Everlaw’s key customer segments, their day-to-day challenges, and the outcomes they care about most.
  • Write clear, engaging content across multiple formats and channels, including articles, whitepapers, case studies, and website content.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external legal partners to identify compelling customer stories and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Produce strategic content that fuels inbound search traffic and supports outbound lead generation across the buyer’s journey.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content performance across production, traffic, and lead generation, running regular experiments to optimize results.
  • Explore innovative B2B marketing channels, trends, and formats as an active, contributing member of the marketing creative think tank.

About You

  • You have at least 5 years of content marketing or writing experience (or at least 3+ years with an advanced degree) creating impactful B2B content aligned with strategic goals.
  • You bring a strong narrative background in writing or journalism, with a talent for converting complex topics into persuasive, accessible stories.
  • You are a collaborative project manager who can align internal stakeholders, build consensus, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
  • You bring curiosity and a test-and-learn mindset to content creation, regularly seeking out new approaches to engage target audiences.
  • You are authorized to work in the United States. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring U.S. employment visas for this role.

Bonus points

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) or direct experience writing for legal, regulatory, or technical audiences.

Think you're missing some of the skills and are hesitant to apply? We do not believe in the 'perfect' candidate and encourage you to apply if you feel you can bring value to our team. We often revisit candidates who may have applied for a different role if something comes up that's a better fit.

This work builds awareness, earns trust, and helps more organizations discover a better way to approach their most consequential legal work.

About Everlaw When a lawsuit or investigation happens, teams must comb through vast amounts of electronic evidence — emails, documents, chats, files — to find what matters. That work is not a side task but the case itself, and where most of the time and money in litigation goes. Everlaw is the litigation and investigation management platform changing that, using AI to turn mountains of messy data into the handful of facts that win or lose a case, compressing weeks of work into hours.

We're the kind of place that's ranked #1 on G2 in our category and named a Great Place to Work™ by our own team. So if you want a front row seat to an industry in transformation, career-defining work you'll be proud to tell people about, and real upside at a company in control of its own destiny, we'd love to get to know you.
