Senior Technical Business Analyst / Scrum Master, #1078

Requirements Analysis • Agile Delivery • Scrum Leadership • Technical Documentation • Client Engagement

Clearance

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a DHS Final Security Clearance.

A Role with Purpose and Impact

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support Agile software development teams delivering mission-critical solutions for our federal clients.

This position combines technical business analysis with Scrum leadership to ensure successful software delivery throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The successful candidate will serve as both the lead business analyst and Scrum Master, partnering with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, testers, project leadership, and clients to define business needs, facilitate Agile delivery, and ensure high-quality software solutions are delivered on time.

You will translate complex business needs into technical requirements, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and foster collaboration across technical and business teams. This role also provides opportunities to mentor team members, improve delivery processes, and help drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Who Thrives Here

You thrive in this role if you enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology while leading Agile software delivery.

You are equally comfortable facilitating Sprint Planning as you are documenting requirements, creating user stories, supporting testing activities, or working directly with customers to solve complex business problems.

You understand how software is built and can communicate effectively with developers while ensuring business stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting modern software development efforts using technologies such as React, Node.js, GitHub, AWS, and Agile project management tools including Jira and Confluence.

You possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions that uncover business needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions. You enjoy mentoring others, improving team processes, and helping Agile teams become more effective with every sprint.
