As we prepare to launch Bold’s high school in Fall 2027, we are searching for extraordinary colleagues to join our team.
Role & Responsibilities
As a School Leadership Fellow, you will train alongside Bold's leadership team to develop the knowledge and skills to become a highly effective school leader. Ideal candidates bring experience leading high-performing teams in one or more areas—academic mastery, school culture and/or school operations.
Fellows will develop mastery of Bold’s model, approach, and systems. Fellows will lead dedicated functions and teams, collaborating closely with Bold’s leadership team to monitor progress, evaluate needs, and scale the systems that will equip the team to achieve ambitious outcomes for all students as we grow to K-12.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and apply a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, and values to build a culture of purpose and impact that scales across K-12
- Lead and develop a school-based team focused on preparing every student to excel in a rigorous college-preparatory environment
- Implement structures that foster a transparent, outcomes-oriented culture; regularly lead and participate in data reviews and coaching cycles to accelerate individual, team, and school progress to goals
- Demonstrate a mission-first mindset to ensure all decisions and actions are aligned to Bold's goals, standards, and rooted in what is best for student achievement

- Team Development: Consistently implements team development structures; coaches effectively by providing high-leverage, transferable, and timely opportunities for development aligned to root cause of gaps
- Communication: Communications are consistently clear and connected to goals and values; actively listens and asks clarifying questions to understand root causes; leverages team communication systems.
- Reflection & Self-Development: Reflects on personal and team strengths and growth areas, actively pursuing development opportunities for self and team.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience leading teams in a high-performing K-12 setting
- Bachelor’s degree with an outstanding record of achievement and leadership; advanced degree and NYS teacher certification preferred

Compensation
Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The starting salary range for this position is $100-130,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
