The position works independently with government program managers, contracting personnel, and technical teams to ensure acquisition strategies are sound, compliant, and aligned with mission needs. The role supports multiple programs and portfolios and plays an integral part in enabling innovation while managing acquisition risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support market research, acquisition planning, and solicitation strategy development for complex IT and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Independently develop and support RFIs, RFPs, acquisition plans, and supporting documentation, coordinating closely with government IT PMOs.
  • Conduct technical and cost/price evaluations and assist in source selections for IT and agile services procurements.
  • Advise on contract structure, contract type, FAR clauses, and special requirements to ensure acquisition strategies meet government objectives.
  • Support contract negotiations, modifications, and contract execution activities, resolving routine and non‑routine acquisition issues as they arise.
  • Administer multiple concurrent contracts, including monitoring contractor performance in collaboration with Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs).
  • Assist with contractor performance evaluations and award‑fee determination processes.
  • Provide acquisition expertise on major IT programs, ensuring successful bid processes, timely awards, and effective contract administration.
  • Support government stakeholders by translating technical requirements into executable and compliant acquisition approaches.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in federal acquisition and contract administration.
  • Experience supporting Information Technology (IT) acquisitions, including scaled agile services.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable supplements.
  • Experience developing and supporting RFIs, RFPs, and acquisition documentation.
  • Experience supporting source selections, cost or price analysis, negotiations, and related contract documentation.
  • Hands‑on experience awarding and administering multiple contract types, including:
    • Firm Fixed Price (FFP)
    • Time & Materials (T&M)
    • Cost‑Reimbursement (including LOE / CPFF)
    • Incentive‑based contracts
    • Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)
  • Experience administering complex contracts, including performance monitoring, modifications, and contract closeout activities.
  • Department of Defense experience preferred.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Desired Attributes

  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders across technical and acquisition teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in government environments
  • Sound judgment when balancing innovation, speed, and acquisition compliance
  • Collaborative approach when supporting high‑visibility, mission‑critical programs

Salary range for the position is $150,000 - $250,000 per year. Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge. We also offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
