Description

At Aylo Health, we work together to enrich the health and well-being of every life we touch. Our mission is to make quality healthcare simple and convenient. Because healthy people can do amazing things!

We offer a work environment that values the creation of lifelong relationships, while also providing opportunities for growth and career development. We strive to care for each other with the same passion with which we care for our patients. Aylo Health offers competitive pay to team members who provide high-quality care, while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

PRN Mammography Technologist

Flexible PRN | Low Patient Volume | Supportive Team

Looking for PRN work that respects your time, your skills, and your patients?
At Aylo Health, Mammography Technologists are valued for the quality of care they provide — not how fast they move through exams.

We’re a family-owned healthcare organization with 30+ years of service, focused on making quality healthcare simple, convenient, and patient-centered. This role is ideal for an experienced Mammography Technologist who wants flexibility without the pressure of high-volume imaging.

⭐ Why Mammography Techs Choose Aylo Health

True PRN flexibility
Pick up shifts that work for your schedule — perfect for supplementing income, semi-retirement, or balancing multiple roles.

Low patient volume
More time per patient means better positioning, better images, and a calmer workday.

Family-owned culture
Approachable leadership, collaborative teammates, and a workplace where you’re known by name — not a number.

Integrated care model
Primary care and imaging under one roof allows for quicker communication, better follow-up, and a stronger connection to patient outcomes.

Less bureaucracy than large systems
Compared to hospital networks and corporate imaging centers, Aylo offers a smaller, more agile environment with greater autonomy and less red tape.

If you’re coming from a high-volume hospital or imaging center, this role offers a refreshing change of pace.

🩺 Position Summary

The PRN Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammograms while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is confident working independently and values quality over quantity.

🔍 What You’ll Do

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions mammography equipment
  • Review images using PACS to ensure diagnostic quality
  • Document procedures accurately in the EHR
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams
  • Perform equipment quality control and follow radiation safety standards
  • Educate and support patients throughout the exam process

✅ Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT-accredited)
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography (RT(M)) certification
  • 1–2+ years of mammography experience preferred
  • Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills
  • Ability to work independently in a PRN role

💙 Why This PRN Role Works

This role is ideal for Mammography Technologists who want flexible scheduling, lower stress, and meaningful patient interaction — without the burnout that often comes with high-volume settings.

👉 Apply today and experience PRN work that prioritizes quality, flexibility, and respect.
