About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school in South Holland, IL to welcome a full-time Self-Contained Classroom Teacher. This role supports 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom and offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative school team.
What You’ll Do

Provide instruction and support to 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom

Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student needs

Collaborate with school staff and related service providers to support student success

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
-
Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Caseload Details

2nd and 3rd grade students

Self-contained classroom setting

Full-time, onsite position

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:15 PM

Wednesdays until 4:15 PM
Qualifications
-
Appropriate Illinois teaching certification/licensure for the position

Experience working with students in a self-contained or special education setting preferred

Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
