$60,000–$70,000 annually (school-year salary)

About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school in South Holland, IL to welcome a full-time Self-Contained Classroom Teacher. This role supports 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom and offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative school team.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide instruction and support to 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom

  • Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student needs

  • Collaborate with school staff and related service providers to support student success

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

  • Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Caseload Details

  • 2nd and 3rd grade students

  • Self-contained classroom setting

  • Full-time, onsite position

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:15 PM

  • Wednesdays until 4:15 PM

Qualifications

  • Appropriate Illinois teaching certification/licensure for the position

  • Experience working with students in a self-contained or special education setting preferred

  • Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
